Beucler Properties Part of Villa Espada Development Consortium


Real estate professional Mike Beucler is a serial entrepreneur and real estate investor. The founder and CEO of Beucler Properties, Mike Beucler was involved with a team that developed Villa Espada apartments in San Antonio.

Villa Espada was part of a surge of growth taking place on the south side of San Antonio in the last few years. The multifamily apartments consist of 255 units and sit on 12 acres of land. They are located close to the Eagle Ford Shale oil fields, Texas A&M San Antonio, and a military base.

Villa Espada is part of the larger Mission Del Lago community, which is an 800-acre development in south San Antonio. The community features a 17-mile-long river trail, park, golf course, and clubhouse. Villa Espada overlooks the Mission Del Lago golf course and is on the eastern end of the Mitchell Lake bird sanctuary - a truly serene environment for a family. The apartments were constructed by Beucler Properties in collaboration with Big Red Dog Engineering, B&A Architects, 210 Developers, and Catamount Constructors.

San Antonio’s Historic Peanut Factory Converted Into Apartments


Mike Beucler’s development firm, Beucler Properties, focuses on commercial and residential projects in the Texas cities of San Antonio and Dallas. Mike Beucler played a key role in converting the Birdsong Peanut Factory in San Antonio to luxury apartments.

The Factory opened in 1912 on South Frio Street, and its four silos and connecting tower have been divided into 25 loft apartments. In addition to the renovated historical structure, there are newly-constructed apartments adjacent to the original peanut factory.

Located in the central city, the complex is convenient to the Lone Star Arts District, Market Square, and Rivercenter Mall, as well as the University of Texas at San Antonio. 

Indoor amenities include wood plank flooring and accent lighting in the kitchens, which feature granite countertops. Microwave ovens, dishwashers, and refrigerators are also provided. The Peanut Factory community offers a fitness facility and swimming pool, and residents can enjoy a dog park and onsite food trucks, as well as parking in garages or a covered lot.
