San Antonio’s Historic Peanut Factory Converted Into Apartments
Mike Beucler’s development firm, Beucler Properties, focuses on commercial and residential projects in the Texas cities of San Antonio and Dallas. Mike Beucler played a key role in converting the Birdsong Peanut Factory in San Antonio to luxury apartments.
The Factory opened in 1912 on South Frio Street, and its four silos and connecting tower have been divided into 25 loft apartments. In addition to the renovated historical structure, there are newly-constructed apartments adjacent to the original peanut factory.
Located in the central city, the complex is convenient to the Lone Star Arts District, Market Square, and Rivercenter Mall, as well as the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Indoor amenities include wood plank flooring and accent lighting in the kitchens, which feature granite countertops. Microwave ovens, dishwashers, and refrigerators are also provided. The Peanut Factory community offers a fitness facility and swimming pool, and residents can enjoy a dog park and onsite food trucks, as well as parking in garages or a covered lot.
